Joe Robinson

Joe Robinson is an experienced senior executive with a deep background in governance, risk, compliance, operations and customer service. He founded High Peaks Solutions to help companies improve and simplify their GRC systems.

Joe spent decades in IT and Operations leadership at two Fortune 500 companies. He served as Executive Vice President and Director of Information Technology and Operations at Fifth Third Bank, a superregional financial institution where he was responsible for leading more than 4,000 employees and contractors in crafting and driving key strategies in expense management, profitable growth, risk and compliance, cybersecurity, and customer experience.

Prior to joining Fifth Third Bank, Joe was a line business chief information officer for GE Insurance, a division of General Electric. He previously ran operations for GE Insurance.

Joe is a member of the Board of Directors of WesBanco, where he chairs the Enterprise Risk Management committee, serves on the Marketing committee and helps the bank strengthen its technology and cybersecurity oversight. He was previously a member of the Fifth Third Bank Board of Directors (Eastern Michigan) and executive board chair of BITS, the technology policy division of the Bank Policy Institute (formerly known as the Financial Services Roundtable). He served on the managing board of the Clearing House Payments Company, LLC and SLK Global Services.

Joe also served as a board member of the INTERalliance of Greater Cincinnati, a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and assisting young talent pursue an IT career in Greater Cincinnati.
